A message from Newham Council to parents

We invite schools and settings to advise parents that they may consider taking their children to Borough’s Proclamation Ceremony. This event is the formal proclamation of the ascension of His Majesty King Charles III in the Borough and will be made by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant and the Mayor, from the balcony of Stratford Town Hall at 2 p.m. on Sunday 11th September. This historic event will be the first in 70 years.
